The Columbia Bicycle Club is the primary advocacy club for cycling in the Columbia area. Primarily made up of recreational cyclists, the club is instrumental in organizing and volunteering for races put on by the CBC Race Team. MISSIONThe mission of the Columbia Bicycle Club is to promote bicycling as a safe, efficient, and convenient form of transportation; to provide the residents of the Columbia area with information on bicycling, bicycle routes, and local, state, and national legislation which affects bicyclists; to educate the public on all aspects of bicycling; to sponsor projects that encourage bicycle riding; to provide opportunities for bicyclists to meet, share ideas, and express interests and concerns about bicycling.
